    By:admin
Well, enough of taking the chain off for me. Has anyone seen any of those cleaning units on sale anywhere. The housing that attaches onto the chain. thanks

I picked up a chain cleaner for very little from www.probikekit.com a few months back, but personally I found buying a SRAM powerlink chain a better solution.

I just spent $25 for a chain cleaner, now my chain looks new. Much less hassle than taking the chain off for a lazy person like myself.

I don't know if I will get any flack for this but I use Automotive Style Brake Cleaner. This is the most potent stuff I have ever seen. It does have alot of fumes so I would recommend doing it outdoors or somewhere with good ventalation. Take your chain off, Spray for about 10 seconds, they blow the excess off with an air compressor and bang, Super clean chain faster than any other method.
