Beautiful - reminds me of my '61 Paramount.

There's something about the late '50s, early '60s machines - they're definitely among the most beautiful roadbikes of all the eras.

Not quite as refined in functionality as machines of the '70s, but unquestionably the prettiest.

-Kurt I concur (of course). I really like my 1959 Capo because it looks great, fits me perfectly, and has an upgraded 1970-1980 drivetrain which shifts circles around the original Gran Sport ensemble. Having said that, I am still looking forward to completing the cleanup and reassembly of my other Capo, on which my sole concessions to practicality and modernity will be KoolStop brake pads and high pressure clincher tires, since I just don't think I am up for dealing with the cost and hassle of tubulars again.

For four decades, I suppose my ultimate dream bicycle has been a circa 1963 Bianchi Specialissima.
