- That's the sound I made as I hit the ground in front of the already angry truck. I was claiming my lane and it just happend to be raining. I was signaling, at the same time I came off the saddle to give it a bit of go juice and my rear end came out from under me. It was in an area near the mall where allot of cars come and go and where a resturant (a nice one) is. Amidst a lot of gasps and one scream I managed not to get hit; although that truck was mighty close. I really didn't hurt anything but my pride, although it still sucked.
I just realised there isn't a moral to this story. Just thought I'd share!
Ride safe!

There is a moral to this story. Do not under any circumstances try to give a bit of "go juice" or anything else that will distract you from keeping the bike upright in any situation such as lane claiming or passing through an intersection, where the consequences of any loss of control would be greater than normal.

Remindes me of the sounds of the two vehicles the crashed behind me. I was riding into a very busy light just glad I wasn't back 20-30ft or it would have been me. We all need those day they wake us up.

When I say 'go juice' I actually meant a little more power to cross the lanes.
Hehe; I wasn't drinking or getting anything else. Just powering. I did underestimate the slippyness of the road, however.
