I'm 240 and just got a jamis quest w/ the unpronouncable seat. I've only been on two rides so far, one of 10 miles and one of 42. During the latter I was uncomfortable. However, I think this was because I was sliding forward. There's a chance that it will be usable after a bit more adjustment.
Bottom line, not sure yet.

I'm 175 lbs. and recently switched from my original Specialized body geometry seat to a Selle Italia Flite then to the Fizik Pave. The body geometry seat was considerably more padded than either of the other seats but that padding didn't do a d@mn thing for my butt. I could ride 15 miles ok but those last 5 miles of my morning ride hurt. So I tried the Selle Italia seat and it too felt good for about 10-15 miles but then felt as if it was taking up too much space down there. It was wider than my original seat which made sense why it felt like it did. So I bought the Fizik seat which was even more narrow than my original and I think I found the sweet spot. Since Monday, I've ridden 140 miles on it and it still feels nice. 20 miles Monday and Tuesday, 30 on Thursday and 70 yesterday (in the rain). I have it positioned almost perfectly flat, slightly tilted forward. I'm still considering sampling a few other saddles like a Brooks but then again I'm worried if I move my seat, I might not find this perfect spot again. It's not Lazy Boy comfort but it did the job yesterday considering it was 70 flat miles so my butt had a lot of seat time.

i have a pave on my cyclo-cross bike and i love it. no complaints.

I have one on my road and mtn. bike. I've ridden that saddle for almost 9 years. I only weigh 160 though.

personal opinion: theyre great for shorter rides... not so good for longer rides. seems like the surface is too flat.. they give me boys that not-so-good tingling feeling

I have the Fizik Airone saddle. I've done several 50 mile rides and may shorter rides with it since buying it about six weeks ago. It replaces a Flite Trans Am Ti that kills me after 30 miles. Now I can ride until my legs get tired, no more other worries. It's the best saddle I've ever ridden on. I have another Fizik on my training ride, the Plateau. I've only ridding that one about 20 miles at a time, but it works pretty well too.

Just switched from a Pave to an Arione. Glad I did. The Arione is more comfortable on longer rides. I am also heavier(185 vs 165) than I was when I first purchased the Pave.

i picked up the pave this past weekend and on my 3rd ride (wednesday afternoon) i got my very first saddle sore.. nice huh? it's goin back to the store where i'll hopefully pick up an arione

On my new (to me) R3000 Si, I have a Pave. I'm experimenting with it against my Selle Italia Flite TT. It seems pretty nice so far, time will tell. 214, BTW.
