Tell me what you think about this deal. He's agreed to sell for a bit less ... maybe 750 CAD (680 USD)
The flat bars seem like a sacrifice, not a gain. But maybe the XT upgrade is worth a bit.

The T800 comes with drop bars, not the straight bars in the photos. Ask the seller if he still has the drop bars.

Another option would be ...and I can't believe I'm saying this
...would be bar end shifters and regular levers. It's a somewhat cheaper option than STI, although not a much depending on the level of the components...$140 vs $150 at Nashbar
